Who runs Satark Desk and what we actually checked
Satark Desk is an independent safety desk with a single beat: showing readers in India how to check a betting site, its licence and its payments before any money moves. Satark means staying alert before you act, and that is the whole method. We give no legal opinions. This page covers who we are, why a domain bearing that brand's name holds no data about it, which parts of 4rabet we examined and which we never touched, the arithmetic behind 5.8, and how the desk is funded.
Who we are
Satark Desk is a small editorial team covering betting-site safety for readers in India. The questions we take on are practical: does the licence number open anywhere, which company signs the T&C, which way money can leave the cashier, what a bonus really demands, and who is on the other end of a UPI payment.
We do not give legal opinions. When a footer calls a site a "legal bookmaker", we print the words as the operator's own and move on to what a reader can verify. Which rules apply to you is yours to check before you play.
Articles carry the Satark Desk byline only, because inventing expert profiles we could not stand behind would defeat the purpose. None of us is a lawyer or a tax adviser.
The CroreBet name in our address, and why it stops there
CroreBet is in our address because Indian searchers type that name, often followed by "legal" or "real or fake". No account was opened there, no cashier screen viewed and no T&C read, so we publish no facts and no verdict about it: no bonus, licence, app, payment method or status.
Repeating what circulates on Telegram and in ads would mean passing on unchecked claims, which is the opposite of what a checking desk is for. What we give instead is method: how to find a licence number and test it in a validator, how to read the T&C, and how to confirm the receiver's name in a UPI app before paying.
We have no agreement with that brand, and nothing on this site is written in its name.
4rabet: what we read, what we saw and what stayed untested
Only one operator went through our own check: 4rabet, checked in October 2026; the phone was an iPhone, the connection Indian and the deposit zero. We read its cashier, payout form, terms, bonus rules and safer-gaming policy, browsed the lobby and the sportsbook, and worked out the 1X2 margin across 10 football fixtures: 5.51% on average.
Real money never went in or out, and nobody timed the chat. Anything taken from the rules is labelled as such ("the T&C say"), so you can tell it apart from what we saw on screen. Where secondary sources disagreed with our check, we kept what we saw.
We put the weak points first: a Curaçao licence named without a number or validator, a numbered mirror domain, a leftover "#Casino Name" placeholder in the terms, withdrawals limited to IMPS or crypto, and no deposit caps.
How the 5.8 is calculated
The result for 4rabet is 5.8 of 10, on a scale we keep deliberately strict. Five weighted criteria feed that number, and the licence and payments blocks account for 56% between them, since that is where readers lose money first.
The licence score is the lowest at 4.0, because the Curaçao reference in the footer comes without a number or a validator, so there is nothing to verify. Payments reach 7.0 for UPI-family deposits, no withdrawal fee in the rules and IMPS or crypto payouts. Bonus terms get 5.0: the 700% pack pays up to ₹4,000 but needs x20 on the bonus, restricted to crash titles, with 7 days from each deposit step. Games and betting score 7.0, support 6.5.
Commission from 4rabet does not change any of these numbers.
How the site is paid for
Satark Desk is funded by affiliate links to 4rabet. Registrations made via our buttons can bring the desk a fee from 4rabet, and the reader's cost does not change.
We do not sell paid articles, take money from any brand other than 4rabet's affiliate fee, or sell reader data. The commission is the reason we state 4rabet's weaknesses before its strengths: a reader who signs up without knowing that payouts leave only through IMPS or crypto is a reader who comes back angry.
Corrections and contact
If a fact on our pages is wrong or out of date, write to [email protected] with the page and, if possible, the source. We check it against the operator's rules or our own notes and correct the page.
The desk cannot act for you with any betting site, 4rabet included, and it is no help desk for either. For a payment fraud, call 1930 or use cybercrime.gov.in; for gambling worries, Tele-MANAS answers on 14416 at any hour. Everything here is written for adults.
