Privacy at Satark Desk: what we store and what we never ask
We keep very little about readers, because a guide with no accounts needs very little. There are no accounts to create and no payments to make on this site, so we hold no passwords, card numbers or KYC documents. This policy lists what is stored when you read our pages, what happens to an email you send us, what shifts after you click through to 4rabet, and how to ask us to delete your data.
What we store when you read a page
We store two kinds of data: a visit-counting cookie, plus the standard request log that any server writes. The cookie tells us how many people opened a page and roughly where they came from, so we know which questions readers care about. It holds no name, phone number or anything you typed.
Server logs record the IP address, browser type, page requested and time. They help us keep pages online and notice hostile traffic; nobody here matches them against other records to work out who you are.
Browser settings let you refuse or clear that cookie, and every page still loads normally.
What we never ask for
No request from Satark Desk will ever include your OTP, UPI PIN, net-banking password, Aadhaar, PAN or a photo of a document. There is nothing to verify and nothing to pay here, so we have no use for them.
This matters because fake "customer care" numbers and Telegram "agents" borrow the names of real sites. If anyone contacts you claiming to be Satark Desk and asks for one of these details, it is fraud. Share nothing, and report the attempt on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
Emails you send us
Mail sent to [email protected] is stored for as long as we need to answer it and to check the point you raised, usually a correction or an outdated fact. Your address never goes on a newsletter list, never gets sold and never reaches 4rabet.
Ask us to delete the thread and we will. Please leave out account numbers, cashier screenshots and ID details. We cannot help with an operator account and would rather not hold that data at all.
Following a link to 4rabet
When you click a 4rabet button, a referral tag in the URL tells 4rabet which partner sent the visitor. Everything typed after that point, from phone number and password to payments and documents, is governed by 4rabet's rules, not ours. We do not receive your name, phone or payment details from 4rabet.
Read 4rabet's documents before you register. When we checked, the only privacy item in its footer was a link titled "Personal Data"; we found no standalone Privacy Policy or Cookies page and saw no cookie banner. Its T&C, section 6, allow requests for a passport, driving licence or other ID, plus proof of address not older than 6 months. Decide whether you are comfortable sending those to an offshore operator before you deposit.
Your rights and changes to this policy
Write to [email protected] to see the data we have on you, fix it or erase it. We reply within 30 days and charge nothing. We follow applicable data protection law: collect only what is needed, say why, and delete on request.
We write for adults and do not knowingly keep anything about anyone under 18. If a parent finds that a child has written to us, we will delete the message on request. When this policy changes, the new text replaces this one on the same page.
